How to Join
Joining a fraternity or sorority is a great way to become engaged in student life. Whether it is academically, socially, or through service and leadership roles, the fraternity and sorority community at SIU provides a network of support throughout your undergraduate experience and beyond.
Check out the list of sororities and fraternities at SIU to see which you may be interested in. Visit them online and at campus events to learn more.

1. Research the organization you are interested in to ensure the organizations align with your values.
2. Join other clubs, organizations, and community service opportunities.
3. Attend the programs and events of the organizations you’re interested in and get to know its members.
4. Follow MGC (@siu_mgc) on Instagram and individual chapter social media accounts to help you stay current on events and programs you can attend.
5. Attend the MGC events or other informational meetings hosted throughout the fall and spring semesters.
National Pan-Hellenic Council
