How to Join an IFC Fraternity

Early in the fall and spring semester, IFC hosts a number of events throughout the campus to allow you to meet each fraternity and learn what they are about.  When choosing a fraternity, you must decide what you want from your Greek experience, and fortunately, there are plenty of options at SIU.  Alcohol is not allowed at any recruitment event or activity. For more information regarding IFC recruitment, please visit http://fsl.siu.edu/councils-and-honor-societies/interfraternitiy-council/Recruitment.html.

Requirements to Join an IFC Fraternity:

Each organization has its own minimum requirements set by their (inter)national organization and SIU chapter.  Please contact the SIU chapter that you are interested in joining to find out their particular requirements.  IFC has its own minimum requirements in addition to the (inter)national and chapter requirements.  To join an IFC fraternity, you are required to be a student at SIU and have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
